James Cherry

James Cherry designs lighting using complex manipulations of recycled materials. Using his hands, elaborate processes are applied to present intimate symbols of the human experience. After studying sculpture at Bard College, Cherry now lives and works in Los Angeles. This body of work was made during a residency at Salmon Creek Farm in Northern California.
